PDF files as thumbnails

  When I originally set up my blog, I was able to upload PDF files and display them as thumbnails. Now when I try to do the same thing, the thumbnail option does not come up (whereas it still comes up for jpg files). ???

  PDF’s actually had thumbnails? I have never seen a thumbnail for pdf’s, only on the images. No other media file does either for me (mov, mp3, etc).

  I’ve never seen them either actually. We had been suggesting in the past creating your own icon like image and using that manually within the link to a *.pdf.

  If you have an example of this image being created like a post you can point to, I’d love to see it.

  It’s not in the WPMu code that I know of.
