PDF link not showing in Chrome

  I uploaded a PDF using the media button and followed all of the instructions in the WP support area, however, when I click the link while using Chrome I get: “Failed to Load PDF document” message and nothing comes up, but a grey screen with that message. I opened Safari and when I clicked the link the PDF populated with no problem. It also worked in IE. I finally just gave up and used SCRIBD to upload the entire PDF to my post; which I did not want to do. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, as I know many people use Chrome and I’d like to use links going forward instead of the entire PDF.
