PDF that was deleted still available via Google

  Hi there,

  I took a PDF off my blog a while ago but it still shows up on Google. It contains information that I’m not happy to have visible anymore. Can wordpress take it offline when I provide the URL?

  Hello –

  You will need to work with Google on getting this removed from their cache. Eventually it will fall off, but it can take a while. If the file was deleted from your media library here on WordPress.com then it has been removed from our system. If you had that file linked as an image on any posts or pages that would now show a broken image in that space.

  It looks like this is the page you need from Google’s end.
