PDF viewer plugin – causing problems with page editing

  I am using the Kadence theme on WordPress 6.8.2.

  When I install most PDF viewer plugins and go back to edit a page from the Dashboard my dark background image is behind the text and I am unable to edit most of the pages. Deactivating the specific plugin removes the problem with editing a page. Also removing my background image allows me to edit a page. Using the “File” option in a kadence block seems to be OK, but I would prefer to use a plugin. I have tried several of the popular ones, I like PDF.js except for this problem. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
