PDFs from my site are SLOW to download

  We are a small property owners association with a brand new WordPress site.

  We want to put PDFs on our site:
  — bylaws
  — covenants
  — minutes of meetings

  So far we have added our bylaws, covenants, and board roster, all PDF. The board roster downloads instantly, however, the other documents TAKE FOREVER to download. Anyway to speed it up?
