[Pendant Theme] How to Resize Menu and Can I edit CSS?

  • Unknown's avatar

    1. Menu -> Hamburger icon on the top left, can it be resize? Now, it covers the whole screen once clicked. I’d like to have it smaller and stay on the top life. How can I do that? CSS with paid account (personal/premium?)

    2. When purchasing a paid account, will two editors creating the site has the ability as the paid account? or is it only one person.

    3. Can Pendant Theme disable the ‘footer’ of the page?

    4. Can paid account has custom font? My site will be in other language not only English. I’d like to have a nice font for my language.

  • Hi!

Menu -> Hamburger icon on the top left, can it be resize? Now, it covers the whole screen once clicked. I’d like to have it smaller and stay on the top life. How can I do that? CSS with paid account (personal/premium?)

There isn’t directly a way to resize the menu overlay without CSS at this time; if you did want to do that, you would indeed likely want the Premium plan in order to apply CSS.

When purchasing a paid account, will two editors creating the site has the ability as the paid account? or is it only one person.

Absolutely, both site administrators would have equal access to the paid features of the site; however only the administrator who originally purchased the paid plan can make changes to the purchase. There is more information about that here:

Can Pendant Theme disable the ‘footer’ of the page?

Which footer are you referring to? The WordPress.com footer credit can’t be removed on plans that are lower than the Business plan; however you can of course choose to not use other footer items:

    Edit the WordPress.com Footer Credit

Can paid account has custom font? My site will be in other language not only English. I’d like to have a nice font for my language.

We have some font choices in Styles (information here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/using-styles/#typography ) , but they’re not specific to different languages – if you wanted to upload a custom font that is specific to your language, then it’s worth looking at the Business plan so that you can use the hosting features it includes, such as the ability to use SFTP and add plugins to your site:

I hope that helps, if you do have any other questions let us know!

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Following the first answer, is this only works with Premium Subscription. So the Personal type ($4/month) has absolutely no CSS editor at all?

  • Hello there,

That’s correct, it’s not possible to add custom CSS on the personal plan.

    I hope this helps.
