'Pending' change to email address

    Hi,

    In my WP admin email I would like it to be my custom email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) and I have changed it to this (from (email visible only to moderators and staff)) but it just says there is a pending change and this has been a few weeks now. Is there something else I should be doing?

    Also when I do a test message from my website (using contact form 7) the message won’t send and it says “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later”. Is this to do with the ‘pending change to email’ or something else I am missing? And what can I do to ensure I receive emails?

    It looks like you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This forum is strictly for WordPress.com hosted sites.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

    You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. You might also reach out to Bluehost as your host for mail set up issues. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
