Pending Drafts only from Contributor

I added a contributor about a month ago and never saw any pending posts even though posts were made on the contributor’s WordPress.com blog until yesterday when a pending draft from the contributor was on my posts page. I cannot figure out why none of the posts I would like to add to my blog are not visible and then, out of nowhere, a “pending review” draft appears. Is anyone else experiencing this? This was one of 2 strange things (other is related to inserting links) that happened yesterday. I have not changed any settings, users or anything on my blog…just posting along.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Contributor’s posts will only show up if they write them on YOUR blog. If they write posts on their blog then those posts will only show up on their blog. They have to enter your dashboard from their account and then they can contribute to YOUR blog.

If you are having trouble inserting links, switch to the HTML tab in the editor, highlight the text you want to be the link and use the link button there. The link thing has been problematic with some browsers and staff is working on the issue.

Once again, thank you TSP. I didn’t think the contributor added any posts to my blog, but when I checked she actually did for the first time.

I actually thought contributors’ posts would automatically be added to my posts, just in a pending status. I guess that could lead to more issues, so your clarification was very helpful.
