'Pending Review' mystery

  The ‘Pending Review’ feature is entirely dissatisfactory both in the desktop app and the web editor. Why can’t the ‘pending review’ posts be seen by the side as ‘drafts’ are??? And why there is no easy access to the ‘Dashboard’ where they ARE visible??? It is very inconvenient to have to type /wp-admin/ all the time and not to have a quick link leading there from ‘My Site’. I’m not alone: lost of grumbling about it on the formum!

  Pending Review is a feature that is useful on sites where there are multiple Contributors who cannot publish their own posts, but need to have an Editor or Admin review and publish the posts for them. It isn’t needed on single author sites or sites where everyone can publish their own posts.

  In the Calypso (new/blue) dashboard, posts Pending Review are located in the site Drafts https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts/ and are indicated by a yellow-orange “Pending Review” icon.

  Thank you for your clarification. The interface(s) still confusing and inconsistent, but at least now I know where/how to find them.

  Just wanted to drop in and give you an update about the issues you’ve been having with content ‘Pending Review’. I replicated the problem and have reported it. We are waiting on a fix for this issue.

  I’ll keep an eye out for any updates.

  Hello! Just asking if anything came out of this feedback? If it doesn’t already exist, is it possible to add a “Pending Review” tab on this page https://wordpress.com/posts/ for those sites that need it? Thanks.

  We are currently working on a fix for this issue: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/9465. No updates yet, but I’ll keep checking for news.

  If it doesn’t already exist, is it possible to add a “Pending Review” tab on this page

  At the moment, posts pending review are saved as a draft with a ‘pending review’ label. The tab is a nice idea though!
