Penscratch 2 Add New Menu Area

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi folks.

I would like to add a sticky menu to my site at the top of the page. Penscratch 2 does not allow the creation of a new area – as far as I can tell.

    I need help
First on changing the permissions on the functions and css file so I can make said changes. My site is hosted on WordPress. So no FTP client here.
    What am I missing?

    Thanks.

And yes – I’m well familiar with the dangers of changing file permissions –

  • Hi there,

We are not able to help with customizing your site to add a sticky menu, as it requires custom code that is outside of the scope of what we are able to support.

However, you may be able to add that option via a plugin instead, which will not require any direct code changes: https://wordpress.com/plugins/?s=sticky+menu

There are no specific permissions that you need to change to access your site files via FTP, but if you are having trouble accessing that you may want to follow our guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/ftp-access/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
