  Hi. The penscratch theme seems to support featured images for pages, but it does not seem to work – no images are displayed on the pages. Help please?

  Penscratch does not display featured images on pages, only posts. The featured image may be pulled when you share a page on social media like Facebook if it meets their minimum size, but it doesn’t appear on the front end (public side) of the site.

  I am pushing my luck here, but do you know of a similar free theme that does support featured images on pages?

  @gospeltsunami, I just filtered the Theme Showcase for Featured Images and came up with a list of 302. You may wish to take a peek at that list. Some of them will support featured images on pages, and some will not. I wish I could narrow it down further for you, or remembered some that did, but the above list will at least get you closer.
