Penscratch theme- line spacing question

    When I write poetry in the Penscratch theme, oftentimes the text does not take up the whole line. When I press “enter” to go to the next line, it automatically double spaces. This creates very long posts. Is there any way to change it so that pressing “enter” will simply go to the next line, single spaced?

    If not, is there a theme better suited for writing poetry?

    Hello,

    What you’re looking for is a “soft return”…and to do that, all you have to do is hold down the “Shift” key while pressing the “Enter” key (or the “Return” key), and you will get what you’re looking for.
