People can't access my blogs via my links and changes aren't saving

I am so sorry to contact you as I’m sure the answer is somewhere on here, but I can’t find it. I have a blog with you. I started a new one. People on wordpress are liking it or following it somehow, but others (ahem, my parents) cannot. I also write an article for an online magazine and wanted to connect to my two blogs and their links are right, but no one can access my blogs. Finally, on my newer blog: Inside Out, there are still tags with the # in front of them in my word cloud because I am slow to understand and thought that was necessary for tags…I’ve removed the # from tags and saved several times, but it’s just not saving it. help!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are your parents seeing the “follow” button in the lower right hand corner of your site? Screenshot here:

That is how non-WordPress.com members can follow your blog.

I also write an article for an online magazine and wanted to connect to my two blogs and their links are right, but no one can access my blogs.

Can you show me an example webpage anywhere that shows this behavior?

Same thing here. Can you link me to a specific post that shows this behavior?

    Thanks.

    hi there,
1st problem: they can’t even get to the blog somehow, so not getting to the point of seeing the “follow” button.

2nd problem: It works for me, so I haven’t been able to fix it, but many people have told me my blog links are broken (if you go to the bio at the end of my article that is meant to link to my blogs, these are the links I am told are working on the other end, but do not connect to my blogs http://www.elephantjournal.com/2013/11/live-the-life-of-your-dreams-erin-mcelroy/)

3rd problem: If you go to erinkmac2.wordpress.com, you can see what I’m talking about in the word cloud on the right.

  • 1st problem: they can’t even get to the blog somehow, so not getting to the point of seeing the “follow” button.

Do they get any sort of an error message? I have to say that this sounds like a computer or an internet connection issue given that nobody else is having issues seeing the site.

if you go to the bio at the end of my article that is meant to link to my blogs, these are the links I am told are working on the other end, but do not connect to my blogs http://www.elephantjournal.com/2013/11/live-the-life-of-your-dreams-erin-mcelroy/

Those links are incorrectly formatted. They are linking to:

    http://www.elephantjournal.com/2013/11/live-the-life-of-your-dreams-erin-mcelroy/erinkmac2.wordpress.com

    &

    http://www.elephantjournal.com/2013/11/live-the-life-of-your-dreams-erin-mcelroy/erinkmac.wordpress.com

Whoever can edit the bio area on that article needs to change them to point to:

    http://erinkmac2.wordpress.com

    &

    http://erinkmac.wordpress.com

If you go to erinkmac2.wordpress.com, you can see what I’m talking about in the word cloud on the right.

Those are likely still showing up because you still have posts tagged with the # versions of tags. See this screenshot from your “Dancing with Abundance” post:
