  I’ve had my WordPress account for a few weeks now and still haven’t received one comment of feedback! And I would love to know how my blog is doing in other people’s opinion.

  1) how many comments have you left on other peoples’ blogs in that time? The internet is entirely give to get.

  2) Across my blogs, I’m averaging one comment per seven hundred reads. How many views have you had?

  raincoaster is spot on. There are no tricks. Reciprocity is alive and well in the blogosphere. Social networking is strictly give to get and it takes months of posting frequently to attract viewers who will actually submit comments. The best way to get comments on your own posts is to leave meaningful comments on blogs with similar content to what’s in your own blog. Set a goal of commenting on “X” number of blogs weekly and carry through.
