People I follow sometimes disappear from my list.

  Why do people I follow suddenly are off my following list? I follow these people regularly then all of a sudden they aren’t seen. When I find them again it says I am not a follower. I have heard of fellow bloggers having the same problems.

  Hi there,

  Can you give me an example of a blog you were following that disappeared from your list? (Please give me a link to that blog so I can take a look.) That will help me investigate this for you.

  I followed this guy for quite a while. I found his site again and now am following him again – http://photopaulm.com/Every now and then it happens with another person…… and I've heard other bloggers complain of the same thing.

  Thanks for letting me know. I checked, and you unsubscribed from that site 3 weeks ago (on October 17). Do you remember making any changes to your subscription then?

  For example, if you receive email updates there is an “Unsubscribe” link in each email, or in the Reader you can unfollow sites by clicking the “Following” link in the top left corner of each post.

  Hmm – I never received email subscription from his site. But I guess I messed it up?? FYI – every now and then someone does bump off – just so you all know…… I guess no way of fixing that unless we notify you as soon as we notice.

  Yep, if you can let us know as soon as you notice that a site is missing, we can check to see when that happened. I’ve noticed that I can sometimes accidentally click the “Following” link to unfollow a site (or tap on it in the WordPress app), but you can click again to re-follow the site right away if that happens.

  You may also want to make sure that no one else has access to your WordPress.com account by updating your account password. If you use a shared computer, you can also log out of your account when you’re done. That will make sure that no one else is logging in to your account and unfollowing sites that way.
