People leaving comments on my blog
-
One of my followers is not able to post any comments on my blog (www.unveilinghope.com) even though I have ensured that there is nothing blocking her from my end. Could this be a problem on my end or does it sound like something on her end? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What exactly happens when she tries to leave a comment? Is there an error message of any sort?

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. She told me that she does not get an error message however she does get the WordPress login page. She is not subscribed to WordPress not does she want to be. I believe that people who don’t have accounts with WordPress can still leave comments, can they not?

Hmmm, I left a test comment on “autopilot” and I did not have any trouble doing so without being logged in.
Could you do me a favor and log out of your WordPress.com account and see what happens if you try to leave a comment on your own blog?

Hi Josh,
I signed out and successfully left a comment. I’m stumped as to what the issue might be. -
Could they be clicking on the WordPress icon in the comment box for some reason? If you do that, you do get a prompt for a login.

I have uploaded two screen shots. Not the easiest to read but you might recognize them from experience. Both in media file: “wordpress page” and “doc 1 share reply page”.
Thanks

So, here is what is happening.
If your reader is trying to use an email address that is registered to a WordPress.com account, the system wants you to login as a security measure. So, ask your reader to either log into that account or to use a different email address when trying to leave a comment.
If they do not remember the login info for the WordPress.com account associated with that email, they can use this tool to reset their password:
