People Linking to My Posts

  How do I know if someone links to my posts? Is there a way my blog stats can keep track of this?

  Go to Dashboard
  Blog Stats

  On the bottom right there is an item called:

  Incoming Links

  How do you tell who is linking to those posts though? I only see my posts, not the site that is linking to them.

  I don’t seem to have incoming links as an option on my blog stats. Does it matter if I am wordpress.com as opposed to .org?

  If you only see your posts there, or nothing at all, then no one is linking to your posts yet. I just checked my blog stats page and I can see them there, no problem.

  Also looking at the incoming links (top left of blog stats page); if someone’s blogged about you and included a link, you’ll see hits coming in there as well.

  I see no incoming links. Are you talking about referrers?

  One way is maybe check out technorati by putting your url link in their search and it will show.

  There is an incoming links panel in admin. Have a good hunt round.
