People need a WordPress account to access my WordPress.com site. Why?

I would like anyne to be able to view my published WordPress.com blogs. However it seems that they need a WordPress.com account to do this. Is this right?

Hi there,
Viewers will not need a WordPress.com account to view your site unless it is private. When a site is private, there need to be credentials used to gain access to the site. WordPress.com account e-mail and password are used for those credentials.
Are you saying that no one can view your site while it is public?

Thanks for your replyI think the problem is that I am putting a link to a blog on the website. Actually what I am trying to do is when someone clicks on to a menu item it takes them to all my blogs. If i do this it asks forthe person to sign in.

What link are you providing them? It sounds like you’re giving them a link to an internal WordPress menu of yours that needs WordPress.com login credentials to access.
