People want me to host their podcast on my blog…..

    I was contacted by someone asking if I would be interested in running their podcast on my site. Philosophically and politically, I would like to help out, but before I decide Yes or No, I need to know: What would be involved in me hosting their podcast on my blog? I know nothing about podcasts and I do not want an extra burden of working with it; I do not have the time, but if it is just a matter of being a place where they can park their pod, then I would consider it.

    Please give me some insight on what it would involve for me. I wanted to ask you all here before I ask the persons who want me to host their podcast. ~~ LornaKismet

This can be done by using the RSS/iTunes feed or I can provide you the Code for listing it as a Blog Post so it can be streamed at your blog. Please let me know which one would be most suitable for you.

    You are legally entirely responsible for the content that is posted on your blog.

    You cannot use the RSS/iTunes feed to feed posts into your WordPress.com blog.

    You cannot stream podcasts on a WordPress.com blog.

    I would say these people don’t actually know what they’re doing.
