people you have blocked as spammers can still reblog your posts
-
tell me why WordPress think its necessary that people you have blocked for harassment or spam, should still get access to reblog your posts, and thus, comment, on your posts. Oh right, free speech! woohoo.
Surely, it would take one line of code, if someone is blocked they cant reblog your work. People just have another way to harass you.
But the morphing into tumblr with the reblog feature is delightful
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Any bad thing can be put to good use and visa versa. If you wish to report a blog then we Volunteers can’t help. You need to follow the instructions for reporting a blog.

How many times do I have to report someone as a spammer, yet their comments still get through? Why is it not technically possible for me to block someones blog from accessing mine for reposting? Why is someones right to make threats of sexual violence free speech acceptable, but might right to block them a violation of free speech?
If someone is blocked as spam, they can still reblog my posts, comment on their post, and it shows up on my comments IE they are not blocked at all.
Unless there is something I am supposed to be clicking to prevent that happening, I really dont think it should be possible for someone to bypass being blocked so they can threatened me.But thanks for the links, so handy

Reporting someone as a spammer to WordPress.com is different from reporting their comments as spam to Akismet.

Where do you see them in your Comments Dashboard? As a regular comment (which you don’t have to approve) or in the Spam comments?
You can report their site by visiting them and using the “Report this content” link when hovering over the site name in the Admin Bar. Alternatively, http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/
You can also block them from commenting on your site by blacklisting them. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist
If indeed they are making “threats of sexual violence “, then report them for abuse following the link that tt has provided above.
