percentage of upgrade being used

  my stats were telling me that I’d used 96% of allotted space so I purchased another gigabyte. but now the stats say I have already used 4% of this gigabyte when I haven’t added anything to my blog since the purchase.

  am I just being a total nerd or am I missing something?

  Are you sure that’s not telling you the total of what you’ve used including the standard allowed and the upgrade?

  My maths is really crap, but if you have just under 50MB used, then get 1 GB on top of that it would surely display the entire total?

  I agree. The just under 50MB amount used is approximately 4% of the 1GB. I’d put it into my calculator, but that would require scientific notation, and it’s too early in the morning and I’m just starting my first cup of coffee.
