Thanks but its strange it should have been posted in the spanish forum hmm well my question is why does when I upload photos, paintings, drawings or sketches with the color mode sRGB IEC61966-2.1 WordPress embedded it with an no valid ICC profile?

Thanks for your time but I have resolved it seems to be the image resize from WordPress I do not know if is due to an update Unfortunately it strips color profiles from the Black& White images only. I do not know if there will be a solution to the issue except to upload the images with the required size.
Thanks

Well I just upload images with the required size and resolution for this template but wordpress continues to strip off the color profile from some of the black&white images. However in my last entry of February 19 the color profile is correct and the image is not resampled to the required size… this is quite an issue for me and the only good news is that it seem to affect only the Featured Images…
-
Bad news I was wrong It affects all black and white images with an sRGB profile while it does not affect images with Gray Gamma 1.8 or 2.2 and the Dot gain % profiles…

Have you read this support doc?
Troubleshooting Images – color profiles -
Thanks but yes I have read already varios topics and take every action stated there but for now the problem continues to remain.
Actually since it stripes of only the sRGB profile from black and white images the solution would be uploading them with an Gray Gamma profile.
I usually review and revise periodically my Galleries and Featured images but with this error specifically I run the first time into it…

I repeat It affects all black and white images with an sRGB profile while it does not affect images with Gray Gamma 1.8 or 2.2 and the Dot gain % profiles.

Thanks but I have already send the request to wordpress suport I hope they can give me a more specific answer and tell me the origin of the error. Off course I will share any response here in the thread. While there is no perceptible change in the preview of the affected images I would like to know what happened.

Hello albertopr!
We received your contact by email, we will be replying soon. Let us know if you don’t receive it. :)

This is the response from support:
I’m glad it’s not making a noticeable difference to your images.
We use the open source WordPress software on WordPress.com and that software does do a variety of image optimization things for file size.
You can see a bit of info about that here:
https://make.wordpress.org/core/2016/02/22/proposal-increase-the-default-image-compression-in-wordpress/I believe the change in color profile that you see is part of those optimizations. If it causes a quality problem I’m happy to report it to our developers, but if you’re mainly just curious as to why, then that would be the reason.

The solution from support:
The why behind it is that the developers of WordPress want to optimize images as much as they can without noticeable visual difference.
Note that this only occurs when WordPress creates images: so for the smaller image sizes that are generated. The original image is not affected.
The only way to avoid it for the smaller generated images would be to use a self-hosted WordPress site where you can use a plugin, or modify the code to change the image processing to your liking.
For more information on the difference please read more about it here:
