  I upgraded to 4.1 two days ago. In the beginning it workde fine, but since yesterday heavy problems have come up. “Connection ost” (not Internet!), recurring time out on “iupdate. Actually an update of a post is impossible, and the very few functions that come back successfully, need hours….;-(
  I assume that this problem ist caused by my provider (server problems …), but would like to know whether I can exclude the upgrade to 4.1 as the source of the problems.

  Amendment to my last post: the performance issue regarding upgrade to wordpress 4.1 does NOT apply to my blog on WordPress servers (deregotrip.wordpress.com) but to that on Deutsche Telekom´s servers (T-online). I only want to exclude 4.1 as the reason – if so….
