Performing an update

  I’m using the Hemingway theme and the blog is connected to a website via the link and a tab on the site. The site has been down for a week and the web designer is saying it’s because the blog needs to be updated. How do I do this? I’ve been all over the blog’s admin and can’t find any notification to update or a place to update. Thanks for your help.

  Please share the site URL. It sounds like you have a self hosted WordPress site.

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What happens here at WordPress.com is different from the self hosted version. This guide explains in further details: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Thanks for your comment, Liz. The webmaster fixed whatever the problem was…I think they mistakenly thought it was a problem with the blog when it really was an adjustment they needed to perform on the website. I appreciate your response though…have a great day!
