Periodical bulk change posts and pages password
-
Hi, WordPress is great and very easy to use. Thank you for allowing us to use such a fantastic product for free.
As I did not find a way to bulk change passwords, I would like to suggest this feature for pages and posts that are password protected. This will help me update the password periodicaly.
At Posts > All posts and Pages > All pages:
1) At the top, show a link to select only password protected items (now we have All, Published and Private)
2) After selecting ‘Bulk actions’ = Edit and using ‘Apply’, if all selected items are password protected, show ‘Change password for all selected items’ checkbox and ‘Password’ text box (locked for editing)
3) If ‘change password’ checkbox is selected, the ‘Password’ field is unlocked and a password must be given.
4) When the update button is used, if ‘Change Password’ is selected, ask user to confirm and change all pages to have the same password. Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
