  My permalink has been changed and it won’t let me change it back. It was /supportus and now WP insists it is supportus-2 which is annoying, moreover since I’ve sent the supportus link out to lots of folks. I don’t have any pages currently permalinked as supportus two. I tried editing the permalink to something completely different (which WP was fine with) but then when I tried going back to editing the permalink once more to supportus it did not work and autocorrected back to supportus-2 . HELP.

  I think you have a duplicate post somewhere.
