Permalink alt= removal

  Hi,

  I’d like to ask if it’s possible to remove permalink pop-up boxes. Basically the ones saying “Permalink to…” when hovering over an image on my feature page.

  I am using the Triton Lite theme and have custom upgrade active:)

  That is not something you can remove using the Custom Design upgrade since the hover text you’re seeing is based on the HTML and Custom Design offers the option to modify CSS but not HTML.

  If you want to make customizations that are outside the scope of CSS edits, you would need to switch to a WordPress.org setup. However, consider keeping them, the hover text is added for accessibility reasons.

  Thank you for the answer, but would you explain how does adding “Permalink to” help accessibility?

  I am just so confused by it:)
