Permalink and showing my Gravatar info on a blog I prefer to remain anonymous on
-
Hello.
I need help. I do not want my name or any information to appear on The Original Journal blog. I am the author (under memomuse) of this blog but prefer to make it as anonymous as I can. I have a main blog (memomuse.wordpress.com) that is my main blog. The problem is that the permalink page is showing that The Original Journal (theoriginaljournal.wordpress.com) is being written by memomuse, which has a link to my gravatar page I created to use with memomuse.wordpress.com and another blog I do (evanstoncommunitykitchen.wordpress.com), which is ok to show me that I (memomuse gravatar info) is the creator of.The bottom line is I want to make The Original Journal (theoriginaljournal.wordpress.com) as anonymous as I can possibly get. I want to go to my dashboard and create posts (under The Original Journal dashboard) and not have trace back to memomuse. Does that make sense? My main dashboard is under memomuse. I log in to wordpress using my memomuse user name and that has the three blogs I am the administrator for: The Evanston Community Kitchen, The Original Journal, and Memomuse.
Please help.
Megan

Okay, well, posting in a public forum is a bad way to deal with protecting anonymity, but perhaps staff will delete this thread.
What you really need is to create a new email address, register a new account with it at WordPress.com, then Invite that user, call her X, to be the Admin of your anonymous blog. Once that user account accepts and is an effective admin at that blog, THIS username leaves that blog. Then X edits all the posts to make X the author instead of this username.
You cannot separate church and state when you are using the same account to post to both. You HAVE to have two accounts.

Hi Megan,
As @raincoaster said, what you’ll need to do is just create a new account right here:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1
And invite that new user to be an admin on theoriginaljournal.wordpress.com. You may even want to transfer the blog over to that new user to ensure anonymity: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
But there is no way to blog using your memomuse username and stay fully anonymous. I’m sorry.
