Permalink Automatically Resetting from Post Name in WordPress Admin

    Hello WordPress Support Team,

    I am facing an issue with permalinks on one of my websites and would appreciate your assistance.

    Website URL: https://hjproud.com/

    Issue Description:

    • The website permalink structure is set to Post name in the WordPress admin.
    • The admin panel continues to show Post name as selected.
    • However, after a few days (not on a fixed schedule), the post-name permalinks stop working on the frontend.
    • When I go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes again (without making any changes), the post-name permalinks start working properly.
    • After some days, the issue repeats automatically.

    Additional Details:

    • This issue mainly occurs on the top-right search functionality, which is built using a custom post type named “Services.”
    • The search results return incorrect or broken URLs when the issue occurs.

    Request:
    Please help me identify the root cause of why the permalink structure is automatically resetting or failing in the background, even though it appears correct in the admin panel.

    I would appreciate guidance on whether this could be caused by:

    • A plugin conflict
    • Theme or custom post type rewrite rules
    • Server or caching configuration
    • Cron jobs or background processes

    I checked the site you mentioned (https://hjproud.com/), and it looks like it’s a self-hosted WordPress site running on a different server—not hosted on WordPress.com. You can verify that here as well:
