Permalink migration function

  For those of us who have migrated our blogs to WordPress.org software on our own server, it would be extremely, amazingly extremely, helpful to have a simple permalink redirect function in WordPress.com to help us transition our blogs. The way it should work: provide the new domain and permalink structure and WordPress.com would provide an automatic 301 redirect. Otherwise, I have to include a link in EVERY OLD POST redirecting incoming links and Google traffic to my new location.

  We have no plans to implement a redirect feature on WordPress.com.
