Permalink Problem

Hi in order fro WP-Rocket to work I need to change the permalink structure. After changing it and saving, I checked my website and all pages crashed (404) except the home page. How do I change permalink, install WP-Rocket and keep my pages like normal? Please help.

Hi, I dont understand why my website is .org. I cant login to wordpress.org site and when I try to make new password it tells me that an account does not exist, does this mean my website is wordpress.com ?? I can login to this website and my website is classcalc.com not classcalc.org. Please help.

I know, it can get a bit confusing. Do you know who your host is for your site? That is, what company have you registered your site with? If your host is any service/company other than WordPress.com, then you would be using the open source WordPress from WordPress.org.
Some hosts offer pre-installed WordPress on the site you create. If that is the case, then you probably wouldn’t have a WordPress.org account, as they have installed and setup WordPress for you.
If you go to the following link, you will be able to create a new WordPress.org account to be able to post on their forums. This is a different account to what you are using to post on these forums (WordPress.com) and different again to what you use to login to your site and hosting service.

Seconding the recommendation to contact your host! They’ll know how to help you redirect pages so permalinks will continue to work. You might also ask wp-rocket if the change is really necessary, particularly if your links are already indexed and linked in social media.

Thanks guys ya’ll are awesome! Imma contact google domain. I actually chat with WP-Support already and they seem to be saying its a host problem.
