The site I need help with is softwaregallore.wordpress.com.

You’ll need a paid Business or eCommerce plan to change your permalink structure: https://wordpress.com/support/permalinks-and-slugs/#changing-the-permalink-structure

Thanks macmanx.
Yes I kept searching the net for answers and I kept coming across I need a business plan but I remember changing it to custom. I remembered I changed it on a different site not this one. I signed up to wealthy affiliate and had a WordPress site from them and that’s where I Changed it. Sorry about that.
When I run an analysis tool it says my site does not have a redirect to my site. Is that because I need a business plan and up to get a redirect plugin as you said that will redirect to my site? O ok. Thanks -

Ah, okay. You would have been using the open source version of WordPress on that site, not the modified version we use here on WordPress.com. With the open source version you can change permalink structure, but here on WordPress.com it requires the Business Plan.
When I run an analysis tool it says my site does not have a redirect to my site.
That doesn’t really make sense :)
What tool are you using, and what exactly are you checking? Can you also copy the exact message you’re getting from that tool?
And what exactly are you trying to do? If I know that I should be able to confirm whether you need a redirect or something else.
Just to be clear, a redirect is used to divert traffic from one site to another. So for example, if you wanted people who click on a link for softwaregallore.wordpress.com, to get taken to a completely different website instead, you’d use a redirect for that.
Redirects can also be internal on a site, i.e. if you publish a page with a specific URL, and then later change that URL to something else, or if you retire the page from the site, and want the existing link for the retired page to go to another page, that’s also done via a redirect.

My domain IP does not redirect to my site.
Also the analysis tool says my site is not mobile friendly, mobile friendly score is 0/100.why is it not mobile friendly? Is it my theme? I view it on my phone and it seems fine.
Whose data info is not available.
Safe browsing it says oh no something went wrong…no security? It says my website is running too many JavaScripts….how do I fix this?
Website is using inline styles…how do I fix this?
It says I have 0 indexed pages and 0 backlinks.
But I have one backlink that another analysis tool said I do and think it’s on Quora.
When I go to Google search and type site: website.com it shows I have one answered question on Quora and I have one blog page listed. Why is it saying I have none? I have activated Google search console and verified my domain and verified Pinterest bing and Facebook. All with the same email address linked between my site bing Pinterest and Facebook.
Am I having issues not being indexed because I have not linked to Google analytics? Which I know I need a business plan to link my site and email with Google analytics plugin.
It says I have 0 social links.
I have connected Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram all on most of my posts but it says I don’t have any links…why is that?
Most of my posts title is under 60 characters and meta description is under 160 characters so why is my site not being indexed? Like I said I found 1 listed page but the tool says none are indexed, then why is one page listed?
On tools it says all WordPress sites are sent to Google automatically to be indexed. I even submitted my sitemap to Google search console. I am not seeing the problem why I’m having all these errors. Please can you assist? -
Doesn’t matter which tool I use it tells me the same.

When I google an answer about JavaScript and inline styles the answers I’m getting is I am a developer.
I need answers from a practical point. I am not entering code I am just filling in the pages and posts on visual mode. I don’t know how to edit the code. The examples about JavaScript and inline styles when I look at my home page code I don’t see any of those css and script and styles.
I need to know how to fix it from a visual mode not in code mode. -
Thank you for all the details. Could you just confirm what exact tool this info is from and which domain you are typing there?
-
That is from sinium SEO
I typed http://softwaregallore.wordpress.comI even tried seositecheckup and also a bunch of errors.
I am not entering code. I am just inserting images and words and links as well as buttons. So I don’t know how to fix all these errors because I’m entering information with information I’m not using code. When I go to home page and look at code view I don’t see any css styles or JavaScript.
I am only editing pages in visual view not code view. I adjust the slug to represent the page and make sure excurpt is filled in and alt text is there for all images. It even says some images don’t have alt text but when I look at the block settings for the image the alt text is there. The mobile friendly problem I see they say is the permalink is too long but I am adjusting them for each page to represent the page. Not give a long title.
But inline styles and JavaScript I don’t know how to fix. All examples I find on the net doesn’t explain in detail what to remove and what to put in its place ECT.
The home page URL I enter does the tool analyse the whole website or only the home page? Cos the URL will take you to the home page and I don’t have any images on home page for alt text to be missing. I’m going through each post to see if one is missing ECT. But how will I know which post has a JavaScript and inline styles that I need to remove and how to remove it without messing up the whole visual and functional aspect on my posts. -
None of those things you mentioned are actually a problem :)
SEO tools like those are helpful to diagnose possible causes if you see actual problems on your site. But the presence of errors in a tool like that does not mean anything on your site is broken. All those tools do is check your site against a bunch of arbitrary rules that doesn’t take into account how the specific platform you’re on works, or what your site itself needs to work – removing the JavaScript and inline styles those tools say are a problem, for example, would completely break your site.
So unless you actually notice something on your site that isn’t working, you don’t need to worry about what these tools are telling you.

To just touch on some of the other specifics you referenced above:
IP Canonicalization
No your domain IP 192.0.78.12 does not redirect to softwaregallore.wordpress.comThat is normal. WordPress.com sites don’t have their own unique IPs, so your IP address will never point directly to your site on WordPress.com.
WHOIS Data
WhoIs domain information can help you determine the proper administrator, billing and technical
contact information. You don’t have a custom domain. You have a free subdomain on the WordPress.com domain. So there is no Whois data for your site’s address. Even if there was, most domain providers these days automatically redact/hide most of the Whois info, so it wouldn’t be visible anyway.
Mobile Friendliness
Oh No! This page is not mobile-friendly.
Your mobile friendly score is 0/100That is just plain wrong: the Twenty Twenty theme you have active on https://softwaregallore.wordpress.com/ is definitely mobile-friendly, and the fact that the SEO tool thinks it isn’t is a problem with that tool.
Your site is not indexed in Google yet because it’s only two weeks old. It takes eight to twelve weeks for Google and other search engines to index any new site on the web. You can speed this up to some degree by verifying your site with major search engines, like Google Search Console, but it will still take several weeks.

Google Analytics is a way to track stats about your site, and have nothing to do with whether or not your site will appear in Google searches.
So you have nothing to worry about here, and there’s nothing you need to fix. Continue publishing original, high quality content to your site, and it will start appearing in search results as soon as Google finishes indexing it in a few weeks :)

Thank you so much. Google analytics just shows me reports. No actual information to adjust content to improve. Atleast I don’t have to worry thanks again.

Is there possibly a free keyword research tool that WordPress can refer? The ones I found like semrush and ahrefs H-educate ECT they keep giving me different results for the same keyword. I don’t know which is the most reliable. And some like wordstream don’t give me the info I need. I need competition rank and amount of searches. But I don’t know which site is the most reliable.

Does answering a question on Quora or posting an article on Quora and medium that includes a link to my website mean
That I have two backlinks one for Quora and one for medium? As long as it’s been approved by them then I have two backlinks?
Like answering in a blog post from a good blog site and adding my website link and it’s approved then does that mean I have a backlink?
I’m trying to figure out how backlinks work and to me realistically this method should be regarded as a backlink
But again Google is a search engine not a human. Would this be regarded as a backlink? As long as the content in my link is related to the content in the blog I am sending it to. Am I right? Or do I have it completely wrong? -
Hi there,
We don’t have any official recommendation for a keyword research tool. Also, the rest of your questions are a bit outside the scope of support that we can provide on the free support forums. We have an SEO guide that I strongly recommend checking out next: https://wordpress.com/support/seo/ (You’ll find links to more SEO resources within that page.)
And if you need more hands-on help with SEO, you may want to look at working with an SEO agency that can help with the SEO-related aspects of your site.

Hi there,
I just wanted to follow up regarding your backlinks question:
Any link to your site from another site counts as a backlink. But Google looks at more than just the number of backlinks your site has. It also looks at the quality and context of your backlinks.
The best type of backlinks are when other people reference your content, linking back to it. That’s not something you can control, but if your content is of good enough quality, that will happen naturally.
You leaving a link back to your own site whenever you comment on someone else’s site, especially when the content you link to is not specifically relevant to the comment you’re writing, does not count as a good quality backlink, on the other hand. Many site owners will also consider that spam-like behaviour – on my own blog, for example, I edit or outright remove any comment where someone just includes a random link to their site.
You can also find a good article on backlinks and what you can do to improve your site’s backlinks here:

Thanks. I have only left a link to my site on one website and the link I left is connected to the content as well as the comment I’m writing. If I answer someone about a bluehost question, the comment I’m giving is about the quality of bluehost and the link links back to the original article about bluehost. So there is relevance in the content the comment and the link. Yes I know that the comment must be approved by the admin then only will the link stick to that comment. You are right the best backlink is when a site writer references my link in their post and that site is a high quality site. I am working on all that. I will focus on all that once I have all my content established.
Thanks for the advice. -
