'Permalink to' / standard how to remove
-
Hi,
This may seem like something really minor but it’s bugging me!
When I post on my blog, underneath where I have the tags and comments, it says “standard” and when you hover over it it says “Permalink to” and the link goes to the homepage of my blog.
Is there any way I can remove this? I looked through all the settings in my dashboard and in post options but can’t seem to find this permalink thing anywhere.
Thanks a lot.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is the post format. When visitors click the post format they find all published posts under the same format.

Yes, technically you can purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and hide the post format so visitors clicking on for example “Image” or “Quote” will not find all published posts under that format. Would I do that? No.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I understand. Gotcha.
I’ll have to deal with that then! I would neither pay for customisation when that is the only thing I’d like to change/remove.
Thanks again.

You can always change to using another theme that does not support post formats. These are the themes that do support them > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/post-formats/#supported-themes

Thank you.
I’ll take a look.
I think that no theme is perfect (the free ones anyway) and this is the best I found. And it’s taken me hours upon hours to make the adjustments to get it as right as possible.
Had some issues also loading the themes both on Internet Explorer and Firefox when viewing the thumbnails. When I scroll down it loads more themes but not all of them.
I think I’ll stick with this and it should work out OK.
Thanks for your time.
