Permalink with specific tag base

    Hi

    We just updated our WP, Woocommerce and Theme and have a strange issue with the Tag Permalink Base.

    Any pages created out of a tag started to show 404 not found errors.

    On review we found if we used the default base product-tag it worked and if we changed the base to anything other than what we had originally (art-category) it would work, as soon as we moved it back to art-category we get the 404’s again.

    We purged caches both server and locally numerous times.

    Our hoster, Siteground, have confirmed there is nothing wrong their end in general or with htaccess (which is where we looked initially) and our theme guys are happy it is not in the theme and have suggested WP or Woocommerce be at fault.

    Does any one have any ideas?

    Seems like your issue is related to a site that is using the WordPress.ORG software package, which is hosted outside WordPress.COM.

    You have posted your issue in the wrong forum. This forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM and not elsewhere.

    Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
