permalinks
-
Are we able to change the permalink settings within wordpress.com like we can for the self hosted version?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Yes, you would modify the “slug” which can be found by clicking “Post Settings” and then look in “More Options”, while editing a post. Hope that helps!

Thanks Keith, are we able to change this sitewide as a default instead of going into each post?
-
I’m afraid that’s not an option with a hosted WordPress.com site. Just the slug is editable as mentioned, not the folder structure. Sorry about that.

I was thinking about that, and I don’t believe so. I will update this thread if I find a solution, but I believe we are to stick with the date based structure.
p.s. Plugins are available to be installed only through the Business Plan.

Just discovered that the Business Plan does allow for the change in Permalinks. It allows plugins, so.. as a by-product of the extra capabilities, it opens up the Permalink Settings as well.
