Permalinks
-
I am looking to modify the URL structure of my WordPress site to include a .html extension at the end of my landing page URLs. However, I am having trouble finding the ‘Permalinks’ setting in my WordPress dashboard.
Could you please provide me with instructions on how to access and modify the ‘Permalinks’ settings on my WordPress site? Specifically, I would like to set my site’s permalink structure to include the .html extension at the end of each page URL.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi there, @rayv11!
Thanks for reaching out!
Are you hoping to make this change to the site goinglivingdotcom.wordpress.com? If so, changing the permalinks structure is not available on the Free plan. To change the permalink structure on your site, you can upgrade to the Business plan. You can upgrade to the Business plan at My Site → Upgrades → Plans
Here is more information on permalink settings:
Permalinks are the permanent URLs to your individual pages and blog posts, as well as your category and tag archives. Slugs are the URL-friendly names of your posts, pages, categories, and tags. This is an example of a permalink: https://yourgroovydomain.com/2020/01/01/first-blog-post In the above example, the slug is first-blog-post.
