Permanency of content
-
1. I am hoping to have a space where content can be accessed permanently — as a source, i.e., for Wikipedia references. Will that be the case with my WordPress blog/posts?
2. How does a domain affect this? If, down the road, the domain isn’t renewed, is the content still accessible on the web?
Thank you!

Hey there,
Those are great questions. We believe strongly in the importance of the web and self-expression, especially through digital publishing. To help facilitate that, we offer a free site plan allowing anyone to publish content on the internet. If you have a paid site plan and it expires, it will be downgraded to this free site plan. While you will miss out on plan features, your page, and site content will still be available. Additionally, if your domain expires, your site will simply revert to the .wordpress.com subdomain that each WordPress.com site has.
I hope this answers your question!
