permanent posts

I have three posts at the beginning of my blog that I want to remain there as always a beginning. How do I do that without having to manually adjust dates daily in the time change area. I would prefer if these posts would not have ANY dates attached, only showing new posts with their dates attached.

There is no way other than changing date stamps every day to accomplish what you want. The option is to establish a static front page with all three posts on it linked to your running posts page that will update automatically, unlike your static front page. Or you could establish the posts on pages with links to them in your sidebar in a text widget.

    (1) Static pages do not automatically update. You have to edit manually to include or exclude the stuff on them.
    (2) You can’t assign categories to pages.
    (3) Static front pages have a downside when it comes to Google juice, page ranking and stats.

Thanks for the reply, think I will stay with just changing the dates. At least this feature is there.
