Permanently delete

    I need assistance permanently deleting an old blog that I have disabled. It still appears in public searches.

    What is the URL starting with th http:// for thw blog in question?
    Do you have the log-in information for the blog?

    If you don’t have the log-in information then you will need Staff help. In order to help you get access to your blog so you can delete it Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:

    1. an email from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was

    2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here.

    3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction number

    P.S. Be ware that deleting the blog does not remove the indexed content in it from Google or other search engines and from their search results. Google clears their caches about every 3 – 6 months but some other search engines never clear them at all.
