Permanently delete account

  Good day! I made two accounts at least 5 years back, when I wasn’t very knowledgeable in using wordpress. Currently, the account I’m using active, but I have a dead account which is associated with my primary e-mail.

  I wish to use my primary e-mail in this account instead, but I can’t switch e-mails because of the dead account linked to it. Is there any way I could delete my dead account to free my e-mail address? If not, is there any way to unlink my dead account with my primary e-mail without having to create a new one?

  Hello!
  You can do both things.

  You can transfer your blog to anothere email account – this way you can keep all you blogs and distribute them among your email accounts, or

  You can delete a blog that you dont wish to keep any longers – this is perhaps the faster way:
  go to translucentdreamer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  then go to tools on the icons vertical bar on the left and choose delete site.

  In short:
  translucentdreamer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
  tools
  delete site

  I don’t really want to transfer my blog to another account because I currently have 3 blogs and it is easier to access them if they’re in only one account. I don’t have any intention to delete my blogs either.

  I just want to free my primary e-mail address so I could link it with my active account.

  I am aware that I could change the e-mail address associated with my account, however, as I said in my problem description, I created another account a few years back and that inactive account is associated with my primary e-mail.

  I would like to link my primary e-mail to my active account, instead of the other one. Is this possible without having to create a new e-mail address?

  Sorry I haven’t been able to help yet. Could you please clarify if translucentdreamer.wordpress.com is your active or inactive account?
