Permanently delete pdf file

  I have deleted a pdf file from my site. The actual file cannot be found in my profile. I also deleted the post where it was accessable.

  But google still finds it, and I can open it from google. Which I find very strange, since I want the file gone from my account and from the internet altogether.

  Can you help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

  It’s the Google’s policy.

  It may take 4-6 weeks or more for search engines to revisit your blog and discover new content.

  Can you help me with this problem?

  Contact them.

  You may submit a request for removal from the Google index once you have properly configured your blog settings.

  Google is not the only search engine

  Try making a new file with “this content has been deleted” or some other near blank content

  But you can’t upload the file in the same month as the original file or the file name will be different – that will give search engines something to replace the original file with – – because of the way files are named here this option can be a bit touchy to make work
