Permanently delete site

  I would like to delete my site. thesweetimpact.wpcomstaging.com

  When I try to delete it says come back in a few minutes to delete, but it has been saying this for a day now.

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there!

  We’ll need to delete all content before the site can be permanently deleted. Have you downloaded backups if necessary?

  Also, I noticed you have a domain registered on the site. Are you sure you want to cancel the domain? You risk losing it permanently if you cancel it, and someone else may use it in the future.

  Yes, I have already dowloaded backups. I would like to keep the domain. It’s what I use for my email, but I don’t want the website anymore. What should I do about this?
