Permission denied

Hi,
On the geoviews map of my stats page sometimes appears a red “permission denied” label near a country name.
I saw there already were posts about that topic in the past, but I couldn’t see any answer of the support… On this one, a staff member is asking for a screenshot:

Well, I took a shot of the UFO!:
http://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/749690Permissiondenied.jpgWhat is it, when does it happen and for what reason?
I hope that now if it’s a bug you’ll be able to fix it, and if it’s not how can we avoid it?Thanks! :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What is it, when does it happen and for what reason?
I hope that now if it’s a bug you’ll be able to fix it, and if it’s not how can we avoid it?Based on troubleshooting with other users, we’ve found that this error sometimes appears when you’re using Internet Explorer 8. However, we’re unable to reproduce the issue on our end, so it’s most likely a setting or add-on in Internet Explorer or on your computer that’s causing this message to pop up.
I want to assure you that there aren’t any problems with your account or blog on our end, and visitors to your site are unaffected by this message.
One way to avoid this message is to update to the latest version of Internet Explorer or try a different browser. (I really like Chrome.) You can download the latest versions of popular browsers here: http://browsehappy.com/
You can also try disabling any add-ons or extension in Internet Explorer, or adjusting your computer’s firewall/security settings for WordPress.com. We haven’t been able to pinpoint what causes this message to appear to some users, but so far it does appear to be specific to IE8.

Hi,
Indeed, my browser is IE8. I guess at some point I’ll have to upgrade it… :)

Ok, so everything’s alright. But I’ll check anyway my firewall settings and IE add-ons to see if there’s a way of getting rid of that.
Thank you for your quick answer, knowing the incredible number of questions you receive every day ^^.All the best!

I really do recommend upgrading IE if you can! There are a lot of newer web features that don’t work with older browsers like IE8. :)
And if you do figure out what’s causing that problem, feel free to pop back in and let us know!
