Permission to upload media

  When I went to work on my site, by changing some of the featured images, I was told in the customize section that I need permission to upload media. How did this happen, and how do I regain permission?

  It sounds like you may have signed in with a different user account on accident. Please confirm for me which site you’re working on. Try signing out and back in to WordPress.com with your other email address.
