  How can I go about getting permission to use an excerpt of a blog from the author of the post? Please let me know!

  Sort of, but I am not re-blogging. An author writing a book for the publishing company I work at has incorporated an excerpt from someone’s blog on WordPress so I am trying to find out how to request their permission to use it.
