Hey, we have a huge problem on our website. And we are hoping that the support could help us! We are a nonprofit organization which organizes one agricultural event every year in Denmark.

The problem is that the management team has been in a huge change, and we cant figure out who has the Superadmin permission. fx. we cant change our ‘footer’ on our website becuse we dont have the permissions!

could you help us in any way? or maybe say to us or see who has the superadmin permissions? then we could go through our huge historical team and ask the superadmin about the codes! thanks on forehand!

  • Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you’re facing with your WordPress site. I understand how crucial it is for a nonprofit organization like yours to have access and control over your website.

Firstly, I want to clarify that your website seems to be using the free open-source version of WordPress and is not hosted on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Due to this, we have limitations on assisting directly as we can only investigate and resolve issues for sites that are directly hosted on WordPress.com.

That being said, I’d like to highlight the benefits of our managed hosting. With WordPress.com managed hosting, you get expert support, daily backups, SSL certificates, and the ease of managing all technical aspects of your site. It provides a hassle-free experience so that you can focus on your content and events. You can learn more about it here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/

Now, if you ever consider switching to our managed hosting, we have an easy-to-use migration plugin that can help you transition without a hitch. This would also grant you access to our specialized support, among other features.

However, if you wish to continue using your current setup, I recommend reaching out to the community support forums for the open-source version of WordPress. The experienced users and developers over there are more acquainted with situations like yours and might be able to provide guidance. You can seek assistance here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

I genuinely hope you can resolve the issue soon and wish you the best for your upcoming event. If there’s anything else or if you have further questions, please let us know.
