Persistent error in photo uploading?

  Since yesterday I have been getting a persistent ‘incomplete request’ error when uploading photos from the standard uploader. I tried the multi-file uploader as well, an in its case the error message becomes ‘HTTP error’ without any specifics. The files which I tried to upload are quite small in size (500-700KB) and I have not had any trouble uploading files to other websites even after this error occurred.

  I use Chrome and Firefox running on Windows 7, and i encountered this error in both the browsers. I cleared the cache and cookies as it was suggested in the support section, but the problem did not go away. Any help that you can give to clear up this problem is most welcome!
