I’m reaching out to seek assistance with a recurring issue that we have been experiencing for over a year now on our website. The problem lies with the delivery date calendar functionality, which is a critical component for our online ordering system.
We are using a paid plugin called “Order Delivery Date and Time Settings” to manage our delivery scheduling. It has been configured with specific filters to restrict delivery days based on our operational capabilities. However, we’ve encountered a frustrating problem: on random occasions, the calendar erroneously allows customers to select days for delivery that should not be available. This inconsistency happens without any discernible pattern and is causing considerable inconvenience and confusion for both our customers and our team.
To address this, we have attempted the following steps without success:
- We thoroughly checked the plugin settings to ensure the filters are correctly configured.
- We looked for any potential conflicts with other plugins or the theme itself.
- We consulted with the plugin support team, but they too were unable to pinpoint the issue.
- As a last resort, we even replaced the plugin with an alternative, but the problem persisted, which led us to believe that it might not be strictly related to the plugin.
Given the nature of the problem and the steps we’ve taken to resolve it, we are at a bit of a loss. Therefore, I am turning to the community to ask:
- Has anyone else experienced similar issues with the “Order Delivery Date and Time Settings” plugin or any other delivery scheduling plugins?
- Are there any known conflicts that could be causing this behavior?
