Persistent object caching?

  Sorry if this question has an answer somewhere already but I’m not really familiar with WordPress.com.

  Does WordPress.com provides support for persistent object caching (memcached, Redis, etc)?

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, due to the unique nature of the WordPress.com’s infrastructure, it’s not possible to alter the filesystem or the database for a site and therefore persistent object caching is not supported.
