Persistent publicizing problems.

  Sorry for the alliterative subject.

  I have tried disconnecting, reconnecting and resetting my browser cookies, but my blog posts will still not publicize to Tumbr. Please help.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Disconnect, then go to Tumblr and make sure the app is disconnected, once again reset cookies, sign into both, and reconnect “publicize” to tumblr here.

  There is a Publicize issue today that is affecting bloggers who are using the Beep Beep Boop editor.

  Are you using the new Beep Beep Boop editor?

  If you are then know another blogger here resolved this issue this morning by using the classic editor.

  The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor.   Dashboard > Posts > Add New

  Though Staff removed the link in the new editor to the classic editor there are two workarounds that can be used found here:

  Thank you, yes. I have tried that already (having found the “solution” while searching on WP). Perhaps with a different browser I might get somewhere?

  Yes, I am using the “Beep Beep Boop” editor and I don’t know if I should be heartened that others are reporting the issue as well, or not. I tried the disconnect/reconnect/clear cookies/cache and etc. three times so far, and nothing fixes it that way.

  I am a little wary of trying a hack, but may need to try it if I can’t find any other resolution.

  Hi @cacambo43,

  We did have an issue with Publicize yesterday for about 24 hours wherein it didn’t work correctly from the new editor. That should be fixed up now. Have you been experiencing the Publicize issues for longer than that or only during the past 1-2 days?

  @jeremeylduvall: OK, my new post publicized fine, but the previous one seems stuck, but that’s OK, it wasn’t a very major post anyway. Glad it’s been fixed. Thanks a bunch.

  Excellent! I’m glad the new post worked. Just to clarify, the only thing that triggers a publicize action is a new post being published. Updating previously published posts will not cause them to be publicized.
